This allows visitors to enjoy stunning views of the city of Khor Fakkan from an altitude of 600 meters above sea level. The rest stop is built in a circular shape to ensure visitors get a full 360-degree panoramic view of this beautiful city, from its entrance decorated with fountains, to its beaches known for their lovely nature, to its ends in the Hossaine and Herai regions. In addition to this beautiful natural scenery, the rest stop includes a number of high-end facilities and modern services to ensure visitor comfort and maximum enjoyment and entertainment.
KHORFAKKAN THEATER & WATERFALL
This architectural masterpiece combines the magic of nature, the grandeur of history, the beauty of art and culture. The architectural design of the theater is a blend of Roman and Islamic styles, with the overall shape inspired by the famous historic Roman theater in Rome, while many authentic Islamic ornaments were added to emphasize the historic identity of this ancient city. A huge 45-meter high and 11-meter wide artificial waterfall was designed near the theater. Designers carved the waterfall into the natural rocks to mimic the scenery of natural waterfalls, providing windows at the top of the waterfall for visitors to enjoy the view of water flowing from the top of the cave down the mountainside.
HISN KHORFAKKAN
The architectural design of the museum was inspired by the design of the original fort located near it. The museum also uses many immersive visual aids to ensure the full integration of visitors into this unique experience that takes them back to the past in all its beauty and grandeur.
OLD MARKET &CRAFT MUSEUM
The old market (Sharq Market), which has been redeveloped and revived in exactly the same style as the original market, transports you on a trip back in time to experience your ancestors' shopping experience before the era of oil. As you wander through its arcades, you will feel the fragrance of history and the grandeur of heritage in every corner, in addition to visiting the Craft Museum, which forms a cultural and heritage space including many sections dedicated to displaying arts and crafts.
